Carpet Cleaning Machines
Carpet cleaning machines come in a wide variety of
brands, models, designs and sizes, from the upright and
canister type vacuum cleaners to the hand held models,
to the industrial-type deep-cleaning machines. The type
of machine you decide to get will depend on what you
specifically need to use a carpet cleaner for - whether
it is just for cleaning small areas of dirt or a large
fully-carpeted home.
As mentioned, vacuum cleaners come in both the upright
and the canister types. Many people find the cleaners
designed with a canister in place, more convenient to
use than their upright counterparts. Some vacuum
cleaners are even designed with more than one motor,
rendering them more powerful than the standard one-motor
machines. Other cleaners come equipped with brushes that
rotate to help clean dirty "spots" on your carpet.
Hand-held vacuum cleaners are also great for targeting
"spots" on the carpet as they are small and compact and
easily maneuverable around tricky corners and tight
areas that might otherwise be difficult to get at by a
regular-sized vacuum cleaner.
Deep-cleaning machines are able to extract dirt deeply
embedded in carpets and help clean below the surface
that most standard carpet cleaners are only able to
achieve. Steam cleaners are also designed to manage a
deep clean. This is a very effective method in keeping
your carpet free of dirt by using steam to draw the dirt
out of the surface all the way down to the base of the
carpet and the fibers of the carpet as well. The steam
injected into the carpet acts to loosen the dirt
accumulated and draws it to the surface so that it can
be easily removed.
Before choosing a carpet cleaning machine, it is
important that you know the fabric making up your carpet
so that you can look for a piece of equipment most
suited to that fabric. Some fabrics might be sensitive
or easily damaged by too-powerful machines and so,
buying a suitable machine to help you clean your carpet
is vital in ensuring the maintenance of your carpeting.
